Gmail Warns Against Fake CNN Alerts

Gmail identified the Fake CNN Alerts as SPAM from the beginning, but now warns against phishing too:

  1. That’s interesting… I just received two more fake CNN alerts that haven’t been identified as phishing (I cleared my spam earlier so I lost the other ones). Perhaps the email you’re showing just happened to be flagged by someone? My fake CNN alerts have two different emails and probably differ from yours. The “headline” is somewhat funny in one, though:

“Ohio Church: No Kissing, Tickling Allowed”

    Too funny… 🙂

  2. I too got more fake CNN alerts. Some have the phishing warning, others don’t.
