I would get to the point of seeing that it’s not just random bits and see the pictures but beyond that I would definitely need some outside help. Odd number. The combination of 2 primes, 23 and 73. 1679 is a little off to convert to bytes. I reorganized the sequence in rows of 23 characters each and got the following (substituting 0/. and 1/@):

Looks like a man in the center. Googled 1679 bits and found the Arecibo Message (need to reverse each line apparently). This was apparently 35 years ago, 1974, not 25 years ago.
