Just reading the description of why they don't publish the selection algorithm here: http://blogs.msdn.com/oldnewthing/archive/2007/06/11/3215739.aspx ...just makes me wish someone would take an afternoon or two to reverse engineer and publish it (maybe they have), even though it's really of little consequence.
