VirusTotal is a free service and I have no control over the type and versions of AV products used. Again, this illustrates not to take the results of VirusTotal at face value.

FYI, in the latest test (2007/11/19), Sophos 4.23.0 detects the rootkit as Filesystem Monitor.

Hi,

Sophos detect rootkits in version 7 (which is the current version) of they're software, i notice you used 4.21 in your test. They've also released sophos anti rootkit which is free for anyone to download which is one of the best anti rootkit programs out there.
